Information Technology Coordinator

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Fiscal Operations, the Information Technology Coordinator performs routine hardware and software troubleshooting and systems maintenance functions in a windows networking environment

Essential Responsibilites

  • Maintains and monitors all necessary hardware and networks to provide services to all Corps sites.
  • Stays abreast on latest industry innovations, potential security risks and threats that may affect the Corps IT infrastructure.
  • Maintains proper retention policies in Office 365.
  • Works with other IT professionals to uphold the Corps IT standards.
  • Liaison between Corps staff and IT consultants.
  • Supports Information Technology Department and assists in the maintenance of Windows base computers for all Corps sites and all affiliated applications/programs. 
  • Provides support in setting up, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting workstation and cloud-based solutions.
  • Maintains documentation for all IT equipment, support logs and services.
  • Maintains and records hardware failure spreadsheet and troubleshooting resolutions.
  • Monitors and maintains Office 365 environment and support domain structure integrity (assists in network administration, access rights, Azure system maintenance routines, runs system optimization utilities, etc.).
  • Maintains external hardware and cloud-based backups.
  • Coordinates equipment repair and the purchasing of IT equipment
  • Reviews and understands Corps’ processes and procedures to ensure internal controls are maintained and to protect the organization against security breaches. 
  • Assists the Assistant Director of Fiscal Operations in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure in accordance with the Corps policies.
  • Implements all information technology policies and procedures to maintain compliance of all standards and policies and administers efficient working of all information technology equipment and hardware.
  • Other responsibilities include: cell phone, web maintenance, voice mail system, computer peripherals.
